Technical Features and Properties
- The formulation is based on modified starch and water.
- Rheology and Fluidity: At operating temperatures (+24…+30 °C), the adhesive maintains optimal fluidity, ensuring uniform transfer onto the label. Upon cooling, the viscosity naturally increases, forming a high-strength bond.
- Formula Stability: To prevent excessive thickening and loss of adhesive properties during storage, special modifying and preservative components are incorporated into the Lux-D formula. This guarantees the consistency of performance parameters for every batch.
Attention! When using the product in conjunction with other types of adhesives, a compatibility test must be performed beforehand. To do this, mix equal amounts of the two adhesives in small quantities. Signs of adhesive incompatibility include: coagulation, foaming, significant thinning or thickening of the test mixture, etc. If the adhesives prove to be compatible, proceed to testing the formulations on the production equipment.
