3. Pick-up (First Sheet Fixation). Gripping the paper to the core to start winding the roll. The adhesive ensures a reliable winding start without slippage but allows the roll to be easily used to the very end without damaging the last meters of paper.
4. Tail Sealing (Last Sheet Fixation). Gluing the “tail” of the roll. The adhesive ensures a neat appearance of the finished roll for transportation. During use, the consumer can easily open the roll without tearing multiple layers of paper.
